Each throw and pillowcase is brought to life by our team of artisans in India and Morocco, who weave beauty into every detail. These products are handcrafted by very talented artisans in rural communities and are not machine made items. This means sometimes they're not completely perfect, symmetrical or a cut copy of one another. Small variations in pattern and colour may occur. We do not consider these imperfections as faults, and these factors should be considered before purchasing our handcrafted items.

Throws

We recommend dry cleaning, spot cleaning, gentle hand washing or machine washing on a delicate cycle only. Please note colour may run on first wash. Our throws are made from 100% natural cotton, and many feature delicate textures, so please handle them with care. For our lighter styles — The Palm, Mandala and Moonshine — we suggest giving them a gentle shake outdoors when they first arrive. This helps remove any loose fibres left from the embroidery or tufting process. Since our throws are crafted from pure, untreated cotton, some initial shedding is completely normal. We’ve intentionally avoided harsh chemical bonding to keep our products as natural and earth-friendly as possible. With time and a few washes, this will settle naturally. To maintain the beauty of your throw, avoid drying or storing it in direct sunlight. Our coloured pieces are dyed with natural pigments — including vegetable, iron and tree-based dyes — so gentle care will help preserve their rich, authentic hues.

Pillowcases

Crafted from natural fibres harvested from the Sahara Agave cactus, these pillowcases are dyed using natural pigments derived from plants and naturally occurring minerals found in the same region where they are made. These pieces therefore require dry cleaning to preserve their lasting beauty and delicate texture. Avoid storing them in direct sunlight, as UV rays can gradually fade the natural dyes and weaken the fibres over time.

Our products are created with deep care for the planet. Each piece is carefully quality-checked and packed in PLA (polylactic acid) corn starch mailer bags before being shipped. PLA is a plant-based material derived from renewable corn starch. We also attempt to use as little packaging material as possible. We’re committed to giving back through our social initiatives, with a portion of our profits donated to charitable organisations that support artisanal communities, environmental conservation or animal welfare. We are proud to support the Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre and have adopted a beautiful bear named Fulung!
